Aerosoft showcases its A330 once again, new cockpit and fuselage images shared

Aerosoft continues gearing up for the release of its next aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the Airbus A330. Currently expected for later this year, the A330 is coming to life at a steady pace, as we can witness from the latest set of images shared by Aerosoft, which showcase the airplane’s flight deck and external fuselage in great detail.

After some initial teaser shots and previews, today’s update brings us the most detailed look yet into the current progress of the A330 modeling and texturing. Mathijs Kok, as usual, brings us a selection of pictures that present the familiar A330 virtual cockpit with a “finished” 3D model, also with the base texturing implemented. Further visual improvements are expected we the introduction of weathering effects.

These new images, which you can see below, showcase the current state of the cockpit from a variety of angles. Here we can see the different panels both in daylight and with some degree of night lighting, along with some details of the seats, displays, and pedestal. Needlessly to say, it looks great!

Besides these interior shots of the Aerosoft A330 for MSFS, Mathijs also shared a series of external images of the aircraft. Even though no details are given about the current progress of the work here, it’s apparent that both modeling and texturing are in advanced stages, with the A330 looking very well proportioned and realistic. The landing gear, in particular, looks very detailed! The streaks and marks in the fuselage, along with the Lufthansa livery, indicate that texturing is also progressing well on the outside.

Mathijs doesn’t say much in terms of development advancements this time. The last time we heard from him, development was going “pretty smooth” and he was very confident that the A330 will be out “this year“.

As usual, we will continue to follow the development of the Aerosoft A330 for MSFS very closely. At this moment, it’s likely to be the nearest wide-body airliner coming to the simulator (probably along the iniBuilds A310), so it’s sure to be grabbing some increased attention over the coming weeks and months.

Enjoy this comprehensive selection of new images and stay tuned for further updates down the line!
