Seafront Simulations continues to expand its nautical scenery enhancements across the world of Microsoft Flight Simulator. This time, the focus goes to the Virgin Islands, in the Caribean, with the addition of a large variety of highly-detailed maritime vessels that help bring this region to life in MSFS
Vessels The Virgin Islands populates this chain of islands with the kinds of boats usually seen here, such as sailboats, catamarans, yachts, etc. With 8 airfields and 2 seaplanes, there are a lot of island-hopping opportunities in the Virgin Islands, and Seafront Simulations is looking to offer pilots an improved nautical scenery below for added immersion and better sights.
Ports and marinas have been recreated across the islands, with animated vessels going about their lives in between, with visible wake effects enabled by the MSFS rendering engine. The developers recommend a ground wind speed of at least 3 knots for the best wake effects, so keep that in mind if you do not see the effect.
