FlyTampa releases Toronto Pearson Airport for MSFS

The virtual airspace in Toronto is quite busy this week! After the release of RegDesigns recreation of CYYZ, Canada’s busiest airport, now it’s FlyTampa releasing its own version of this popular North American Airport.

FlyTampa is one of the most renowned airport development studios in the flight simulator community, so every release deserves some attention. They already have some very nice airports available for MSFS, such as Athens, Sydney, or Las Vegas, and now the team is bringing Canada’s largest international gateway to Microsoft Flight Simulator.

CYYZ Toronto Pearson Airport is the primary hub for Air Canada and it’s also an important hub for WestJet, Fedex, and other airlines. It connects to many countries all around the world and naturally serves the domestic market as well.

FlyTampa doesn’t usually reveal too many details about its products, but we’ve come to expect a quality release after so many years of successes. Toronto Pearson appears to be no exception, with a very authentic recreation of the airport that makes use of realistic PBR textures and 3D models, dynamic lighting, animations, tunnels, bridges, and much more. The interior of the terminals has also been modeled in great detail.

The images speak for themselves, so do check them out if you’re interested in grabbing this. Obviously, RegDesigns has its own version now available, and it appears to be a good choice as well.

FlyTampa’s CYYZ Toronto Pearson Airport is now available through its own website and Orbx, priced at around $18.00. It should also come to other vendors soon.
