Orbx releases 1WA6 Fall City Airport for Flight Simulator

Orbx released this week for Flight Simulator one of its old FSX classics: 1WA6 Fall City Airport, a small and picturesque private airport in the Pacific Northwest.

Created by Russ White, this was a beloved little spot for simmers who hoped between Orbx’s airports in this region. It’s beautifully located nearby the famous Snoqualmie Falls, in a region that is also well-known for its appearance in Twin Peaks, the popular TV show from David Lynch.

Orbx is sparse on the details for this release, but 1WA6 Fall City was a technical marvel in FSX. It was extremely detailed, something that can easily be even better in MSFS, but at the time it also featured falling leaves in the fall, among other technical feats. It’s unclear if this is a feature-by-feature conversion to MSFS, but for the incredibly low price that Orbx is offering this airport, it’s probably a simpler implementation.

1WA6 Fall City is now available through Orbx Direct for just US$4.03 | €3,40 | £2.90.

This is another release under the Throwback Thursdays series that Orbx launched a few weeks ago, which sees the Australian studio bringing some of its old classics to MSFS. Previously featured products were EGHI Southampton Airport and EGPB Sumburgh Airport.
