The default pushback system in Flight Simulator is cumbersome, to say the least. You must ask ATC for every little turn you want to make, a process that takes time and leads to delays. That’s why we’ve seen some popular tools show up to greatly ease this task. A freeware option that we’ve featured before, Pushback Helper, was probably the most popular one (and there is also FS2Crew’s Pushback Express) but now there’s a new kid in town!
Toolbar Pushback improves on its older competitor in a few ways. Firstly, it’s completely integrated with MSFS, quickly accessible through the in-sim toolbar, or the classic “Shift+P” keyboard shortcut. Then, the little pop-up window where you can actually use the utility shows up, appropriately designed according to the overall look and feel of Flight Simulator’s interface. No more external apps!
