Indiafoxtecho previews Sukhoi Su-31 for MSFS

Looking for a Russian aerobatic machine?
by Vasco Ferreira

Indiafoxtecho has been one of the most active developers since Flight Simulator released last August, with a growing airplane portfolio that already includes the Long-EZ, the Aermacchi MB-339 and the T-45C Goshawk. We’ve recently learned about their roadmap for the coming months, with exciting additions such as the F-35 Lightning or a Russian aerobatic aircraft that we are going to talk to you about today: Sukhoi Su-31.

In an update on Indiafoxtechos’ social media, the developer shared some new images of the aircraft and a few details about its development. Currently, the Su-31 is mostly complete from the visual standpoint, with just some textures needing some tweaks. So, what you’re seeing in these images is very much as close to the final product as it can possibly get.

What is still in need of some works are the sounds and the flight model. There are important news on this front, given that the upcoming Sim Update will apparently bring a host of important changes that will change how aircraft behave, thus leading, possibly, to improvements to flight models. This will have Indiafoxtecho re-check their existing airplanes, before moving on with new projects.

Better news is the fact that the visual effects’ editor is now working, which may finally enable some cool effects, like smoke, where and when appropriate.

So, is the Sukhoi Su-31 going to be the next airplane from Indiafoxtecho? Or are you more excited to see the F-35? Let us know in the comments below!
