FlightSimExpo 2021 now open for registrations, preliminary schedule announced

FlightSimExpo is back this year with a weekend full of interaction between simmers, developers, exhibitors, content creators and aviation experts from all over the world. 2020’s event was inevitably compromised due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the team behind the event is hopeful that this next June things will be more auspicious, with both in-person and online experiences.

FlightSimExpo 2021 will be held on June 4-6, at the Town and Country Resort in San Diego. Those who are unable to attend in-person will have the possibility to see the live-streamed seminars, in a hybrid event that will cater to all of those who have an interest in the flight sim world. The initial schedule is now available for you to check out, and includes presentations from real pilots, air traffic controllers, flight sim developers, and more.

Registrations are now open for both in-person and online attendees. While the in-person event will cost $70, and includes access to the entire weekend schedule, the online-only registration will be just $15, with access to the live-streamed seminars and the ability to view product videos and exhibitor’s ‘video booths’ in a virtual exhibit hall.

In-person attendees can also purchase a $10 add-on to the ‘Captain’s Corner’, and educational seminar to take place on June 4.

Considering the continuous uncertainty around the ongoing global pandemic, FlightSimExpo will be polling registered attendees and the broader flights community about the the final format of the event. Only then will sponsors and exhibitors be announced. The idea is to get a better visibility over expected attendee numbers, so that the conference can be better aligned with both sponsors, exhibitors and community expectations.

For the in-person component of FlightSimExpo 2021, there’s discounts available for stays in the Town and Country Resort, as well as for travel bookings with Delta, Southwest, Westjet and Enterprise.

If you want to know more about this year’s event, make sure to check the upcoming Twitch stream with Moosestaffa, next Saturday at 12pm PT (20:00 GMT), where FlightSimExpo co-founder Evan Reiter will join Mike to discuss this year’s event.
