The patch brings improvements in two main areas:
Stability & Performance
- Fixed a crash when selecting “As Arrival” in the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB).
- Resolved a crash caused by changes to the Drone camera focus mode settings.
- Fixed additional crashes occurring across various parts of the simulator.
General Bug Fixes
- Restored the cursor on the Xbox Live sign-in popup.
- Addressed a focus issue when creating a new input profile.
- Aircraft selection is now accessible via the control menu, though changes can still only be made from the home page.
- Fixed a bug that caused users to get stuck when accessing the menu bar from help pages.
Microsoft has reminded PC users to check their Community Folder, as third-party content may cause performance or stability problems. Simmers experiencing long loading times or crashes should move these files to a different location before restarting the sim. Remember to check in with your add-on developers to see if their products have been made compatible with MSFS 2024!
