SimPassengers launches for MSFS 2024 with cabin events, passenger reactions, and flight scoring

ACE Solutions' new add-on goes well beyond cabin sounds, with a telemetry system, dynamic PAs, and a web ecosystem built around your flights.

Many of the aircraft we fly in MSFS 2024 are simulated in great detail. The people inside them, not so much. That’s the observation that led Anil Ardahanli, founder of ACE Solutions, to build SimPassengers. A simmer himself for over 20 years, Ardahanli says he started the project for his own flights before it grew into something worth releasing as a product.

SimPassengers is now live for MSFS 2024, and its scope goes noticeably further than what’s already available in the cabin immersion space. So what does it do?

SimPassengers adds a live cabin atmosphere around your flight. From the moment boarding starts to when the last passenger walks off the jet bridge, the add-on tracks cabin state, passenger stress and happiness, service flow, seatbelt compliance, turbulence impact, and more. The developer describes it as a cabin that has memory: if your passengers are unsettled by turbulence, they don’t just reset. They remain uneasy until the flight stabilises, service resumes, or a smooth landing reassures them.

The PA system is dynamic and context-aware. Announcements vary by flight phase, departure and arrival airport, airline, and what’s actually happening on board. The developer says that if you land in London, you might hear the crew recommend local fish and chips; land at TNCM, and you’ll get a mention of Maho Beach. Whether this holds up consistently across routes is something that will need more time in the air to assess, but the ambition is clear.

Cabin service is also time-aware. A short morning hop will behave differently to a long overnight sector, and service can start, progress, or remain incomplete depending on how the flight goes.

Then there are events, and this is where SimPassengers gets genuinely interesting. The developer has built what it describes as decision moments: a passenger in cardiac arrest, a suspected vaping incident in the lavatory, an unruly passenger in seat 14C, an early labour situation with MedLink contact via satcom. Some events chain or branch depending on your decisions.

At the end of each flight, SimPassengers generates a detailed report covering your final score, stress peaks, landing rate, bank angle, fuel usage, cabin incidents, and more. These reports are tied to a web profile, with a public flight feed, leaderboards, achievements, and upcoming mobile apps planned for the future.

How it compares

It’s a fair question to ask where SimPassengers sits relative to what’s already out there. Tools like PACX, SLC, and Passenger2x, which received a significant overhaul just last month, each address part of this space. The developer’s own answer to that comparison is that SimPassengers is trying to be more than a cabin sound tool or a career grind: it’s a cabin management and telemetry ecosystem that you can use with any aircraft, route, or airline you choose, without locked progression.

SayIntentions subscribers also already get cabin crew features as part of that platform’s broader ATC suite. SimPassengers sits outside that ecosystem entirely and is aircraft-agnostic in a different way. It’s worth noting, however, that a SimBrief flight plan is currently required for the add-on to function. There’s no MSFS 2024 EFB support yet, and the developer is looking into it. GA aircraft and freighters are also not currently supported, though the developer says they’re coming.

Early community feedback

The first few weeks of community feedback from AVSIM, where the product launched on May 6, have been honest and detailed. Early users flagged a variety of issues, and the developer acknowledged all of it and addressed most of these points in subsequent updates.

Pricing and platform

SimPassengers is a one-time purchase. The Basic tier is $24.99, which covers the full cabin experience, flight scoring, events, and community features. An Advanced Pack at $49.99 adds early preview builds, a private forum section, and priority Discord support.

The add-on is available directly from simpassengers.com.
