Echo 19 Audio’s Cessna 208B EX Precision Audio Pack, which we previewed back a few days ago when the first teaser dropped, is now available for purchase.
Echo 19 partnered with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) and recorded their real Grand Caravan EX on location using more than 12 microphones, covering the cockpit, cabin, and exterior from every angle across every phase of flight. The PT6 engine audio is a complete replacement, from cold-and-dark startup all the way through spool-up, taxi, takeoff, and shutdown.
The propeller work runs in true ambisonic 3D surround inside the cockpit, with the prop tone shifting dynamically as you line up, roll out, and lift off, something the default Asobo model gets nowhere near. Outside, there’s a full 360-degree exterior reconstruction with flyby sounds and distant engine ambience, which makes a real difference if you like external camera views or do virtual spotting.
Beyond the obvious stuff, Echo 19 has covered systems that aren’t even present in the default aircraft: AC ventilation fan audio, bleed-air heating sounds, fuel pump cycling, flap motors, and movement rattles tied to flight dynamics. There’s also a headphone simulation toggle in the pack’s settings, which reduces ambient cockpit noise to mimic wearing a headset. Small touch, but the kind of thing a sim pilot always appreciates.
Worth noting for anyone flying the Black Square Caravan Professional: this pack is specifically for the default Asobo C208B and is explicitly not compatible with the Black Square model. If you’re on Black Square, this isn’t for you (and you already have awesome sounds with that). If you’re still on the default Asobo build, which many people are, this is probably the most substantial upgrade you can make to the aircraft right now.

The pack also ships with nine liveries created by Rhys Brown for MSFS 2024, including two MAF schemes (one matching the exact tail number used in the recording session), Echo 19 house paints in executive and cargo variants, and branded schemes for FedEx and DHL. Passenger, cargo, and float variant liveries are all included, which is a nice bonus given how versatile the real Caravan is in those configurations.
On the charitable side: Echo 19 says a portion of every sale goes directly to Mission Aviation Fellowship. MAF operates Caravans in remote regions for medical transport and disaster response, so there’s a real-world reason behind the partnership beyond just access to the aircraft.
The pack is available now for $15.29.
