SayIntentions.AI rolls out RAAS preview for users on its Partner Program

The platform expands its toolset with safety cues similar to those used in real-world cockpit alerts during taxi and final approach.

SayIntentions.AI has introduced a preview version of its Runway Awareness and Advisory System, a safety-focused feature that adds runway-related callouts during taxi and approach. RAAS is widely used in real-world operations, so its arrival in SayIntentions.AI marks another important step as the platform continues expanding beyond voice ATC into tools that support broader situational awareness in the sim.

The company says the system announces approaching runways during taxi, identifies the runway once the aircraft enters it, and reports the remaining distance. On final, it confirms which runway the aircraft is aligned with. If the system detects an approach toward the wrong runway, users will hear a “caution, caution” alert. These are the types of practical cues many simmers rely on from standalone RAAS add-ons, and SayIntentions.AI notes that the preview focuses on the most essential elements while more advanced behavior is still under development.

RAAS is available to users with an active SayIntentions.AI subscription, which is required before joining the Partner tier. New users can sign up here.

The Partner Program itself is a one-time upgrade that offers access to experimental features and provides a way to participate more directly in the platform’s ongoing development. More information is available here.

Partners can enable RAAS immediately through the pilot portal in the Preview tab, where they can also listen to sample alerts. SayIntentions.AI says user feedback will guide the next stages of refinement as the system moves toward a more complete release.
