CJ Simulations is building a Global 7500-style business jet for Microsoft Flight Simulator

CJ Simulations, the developer behind the Eurofighter Typhoon and Rafale for Microsoft Flight Simulator, has announced work on a new aircraft project: a long-range business jet. Based on the Bombardier Global 7500, the aircraft will be released under the name CJS GL-7500 to avoid potential trademark issues.

The developer says the release of this project is closely tied to the completion of its avionics suite. Unlike other add-ons that reuse Asobo or Working Title avionics, the GL-7500 is being developed with custom avionics pages, following official manuals. Since the Global 7500’s documentation is not available, the systems are being built with reference to the Global 6000 FCOM, which CJ Simulations explains is very similar apart from minor user interface differences.

Avionics development has been underway for more than eight months, and while progress is described as significant, there is still extensive work to complete. The developer currently estimates a possible release in 2026.

The 3D model, acquired from a commercial source, is being used as a starting point. CJ Simulations notes that it will require corrections and improvements, including external features such as flaps, slats, and thrust reversers, as well as detailed work inside the cockpit.

Preview images show progress on both the exterior and interior models. The cockpit already features functioning avionics displays with flight planning, systems synoptics, and datalink menus. The cabin is also modeled, including seating, galley, and tables, suggesting the aircraft will feature a walkable interior.

CJ Simulations clearly states that the GL-7500 is not intended as a study-level aircraft, but the aim is to provide a detailed business jet experience for MSFS with custom-built systems rather than adapted default solutions.
