We’ve been following Orbx’s Jurassic World: Archipelago expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 since its reveal earlier this month. After the first announcement and a second round of previews showcasing dinosaurs and landmarks, Orbx has now published the official product page along with another set of images, giving us a closer look at what to expect.
The product page confirms the expansion is set just before the events of the 2015 Jurassic World film. Isla Nublar is depicted as an operational park — complete with monorails, the Innovation Center, and other attractions — while Isla Sorna remains abandoned, its former facilities slowly overtaken by nature.
Alongside the six fictional islands of the Muertes Archipelago, the expansion will also include locations on the Costa Rican mainland. Herradura Bay Marina and an upgraded version of Juan Santamaría International Airport (MROC) are featured, with the latter housing a Jurassic-World-themed VIP terminal.
The product page reiterates several features previously revealed, including custom airfields, helipads, unique animations, and the inclusion of multiple dinosaur species. Pricing and release details remain unannounced, though Orbx says the expansion is still expected very soon for MSFS 2024.
