RW Profiles has just released its recreation of Newcastle International Airport (EGNT) for Microsoft Flight Simulator, bringing one of the UK’s key regional airports to life in impressive detail. Already seen in previews from streamers across the community, the scenery is now available to the public for £12.99 (excluding VAT), via the iniBuilds Store.

Serving over 5 million passengers in 2024, Newcastle Airport connects the Northeast of England to more than 80 destinations, with flights operated by over 15 airlines including British Airways, easyJet, Jet2, TUI, and Emirates. Whether it’s short domestic hops or long-haul routes to Dubai and beyond, this new scenery opens up a lot of options for virtual pilots.

RW Profiles’ rendition includes a fully modelled terminal interior, animated jetways in all configurations, a detailed landside environment, and custom ground textures. The scenery also features an accurate and current airport layout, custom night lighting, GSX support, and extensive performance optimizations including LODs and feature toggles.

General aviation is also well represented, with a fully modelled GA area, FBO interiors, static aircraft, and spawnable hangars.

Key features include:

  • Hand-made and hand-painted ground textures
  • Custom and animated jetways
  • Modelled landside and terminal interiors
  • GSX profile included
  • Accurate AI airline gate assignments
  • Fully modelled GA and FBO areas
  • Configurable performance options
  • Realistic lighting and ground signage
  • Optimized for performance with adjustable LODs

The scenery is available now from the iniBuilds Store, priced at £12.99 (excluding VAT).
