JetStream and Flightbeam team up to bring Phoenix Sky Harbor (KPHX) to Microsoft Flight Simulator

A joint venture seeking to build the best version of Phoenix Sky Harbor ever released.

JetStream Designs and Flightbeam Studios have announced a joint project to bring Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (KPHX) to Microsoft Flight Simulator.

This new scenery is being co-developed by both teams, combining the best of each studio to deliver a high-detail rendition of KPHX with solid performance and MSFS-native features. According to the announcement, the goal is to create a “premium scenery product without the long wait.”

Phoenix Sky Harbor is one of the busiest airports in the United States and a key hub for both American Airlines and Southwest. Despite its significance, the airport has yet to see a high-quality rendition in MSFS from either of these developers—until now.

At this stage, the only preview image shared features the airport’s distinctive control tower. However, more development updates and screenshots are expected to follow as work progresses.

That’s all for now—an announcement light on details but enough to set expectations for a high-quality rendition from two of the most respected scenery developers in the community. As always, we’ll keep an eye on this project and share more once new information becomes available.
