Top Mach Studios has confirmed that its T-7A Red Hawk jet trainer is now available in the MSFS 2024 in-sim Marketplace—at least for PC users. This means simmers who’ve been holding off on purchasing the aircraft specifically for MSFS 2024 can now go ahead and add it to their hangar.
This update brings the product to version 1.0.1 and makes sure the T-7A functions as intended in the new sim environment. Users who already bought the aircraft in MSFS 2020 via the Marketplace should now see it available in their MSFS 2024 content manager—no additional purchase required.
But what about Xbox simmers? The team at Top Mach Studios is still working to determine whether the T-7A is fully functional and properly listed for Xbox users in the 2024 version of the Marketplace. A follow-up announcement will be made once there’s more clarity on the console side of things.
For those unfamiliar, the T-7A Red Hawk is the U.S. Air Force’s next-generation advanced jet trainer, designed by Boeing and Saab to replace the T-38 Talon. In sim form, Top Mach Studios offers a rendition that balances realism and performance, featuring a custom fly-by-wire control system, detailed 3D cockpit, and audio work from Echo19.
Top Mach Studios developed the aircraft using a combination of open-source information, official promotional material, and best-guess engineering to fill in the blanks left by the still largely classified or under-documented systems of the real T-7A.
The team also previously promised free compatibility updates for MSFS 2024, and this version 1.0.1 fulfills that commitment.
The T-7A Red Hawk is priced at $27.99 USD on the MSFS Marketplace. If you already purchased it in MSFS 2020, you won’t need to repurchase it in 2024—just check your content manager for the update.
