AzurPoly has released its long-awaited SEPECAT Jaguar for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Now available on the in-sim Marketplace for both PC and Xbox, Contrail, SimMarket, and other stores, the aircraft is priced at $31.99 and marks a milestone in MSFS history as the first officially licensed Dassault military aircraft developed for public flight simulation.
The Jaguar is a twin-engine, supersonic attack aircraft that emerged from a joint Anglo-French venture in the 1960s. Originally conceived to fulfill advanced training and ground-attack roles, it evolved into a versatile frontline combat jet used by several air forces worldwide, including those of the UK, France, India, and Oman. Over 570 units were produced between 1968 and 1981, with the aircraft seeing service in various conflicts in reconnaissance, bombing, and strike roles.
AzurPoly’s rendition of the Jaguar for MSFS includes both the French Jaguar A and British GR1 variants. While each model features a distinct external configuration, both share a common cockpit based on the Jaguar A. The developer notes that a dedicated GR1 cockpit may be considered for a future update.
The package includes 16 liveries and incorporates a wide range of features built on more than a year of development. The aircraft model is based on high-fidelity 3D scans and photoscanned textures, while the flight model was developed with input from former Jaguar pilots to recreate the aircraft’s unique flight dynamics and handling characteristics.

- Custom Electronic Flight Bag for aircraft configuration
- Payload management with static weapons
- Two pilot helmet options and detailed pilot animations
- A jettisonable canopy, custom effects (afterburner, vortices), and wingflex
The Jaguar is compatible with both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. A native 2024 version is currently in development and expected to release in the coming weeks. According to AzurPoly, users who purchase the 2020 version will be eligible for a discounted upgrade to the 2024-native package, provided the aircraft is bought from the same store.
Some features originally designed for MSFS 2024 are not included in the current version but are planned for the native release. The team also confirms that ongoing updates are in the works, guided by community feedback. A detailed flight manual and a paintkit are available on AzurPoly’s website.
