iniBuilds’ A350 Launching Exclusively for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

iniBuilds took the MSFS community by storm late last year when they announced that they were developing the mighty Airbus A350 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The team went into radio silence for most of the time since then about that project, with just a recent update that shed some new light on it.

However, today, iniBuilds took to their Discord server with an announcement that, in retrospect, is perhaps to be expected, but still took many by surprise: the A350, initially being developed for MSFS 2020, will now be an MSFS 2024 exclusive.

At the heart of iniBuilds’ decision to develop the A350 exclusively for MSFS 2024 is the enhanced capabilities of the new platform. “We made the decision to create a product that will be packed with features that FS2024 will allow us to integrate,” Eddie, iniBuilds’ Community Manager, explained in the Discord chat.

The announcement has elicited a range of responses from the flight simulation community, reflecting the diverse perspectives and priorities of simmers. Some users expressed enthusiasm about the potential for a more advanced product, while others voiced concern about being left behind if they choose not to upgrade to MSFS 2024.

Despite the platform shift, iniBuilds has maintained their commitment to releasing the A350 by the end of the year. The company has also promised more comprehensive information in the near future and is expected to provide further insights about this decision later this week.
