Following the release of their B-2 Spirit for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Top Mach Studios has now released a complementary freeware scenery upgrade for Whiteman Air Force Base (AFB), the home of the real-world B-2 fleet. It’s a thoughtful addition to the developer’s lineup, allowing simmers to fully immerse themselves in the operations of the B-2 by flying it from its actual base.
The scenery overhaul, developed by WombiiActual in collaboration with Top Mach Studios, provides an extensive upgrade not only to the default scenery but also to the previously available freeware Whiteman AFB scenery from WombiiActual.
The updated Whiteman AFB scenery is packed with new features and improvements and is perhaps one of the most detailed freeware military airbase in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Key features:
- Accurately modeled hangars with Spirit of X logos on the hangars
- Control tower modeled after Whiteman AFB tower
- Static T-38 models with WM markings
- Upgraded aircraft parking sun shelters
- Full night lighting on hangars and exterior lights
- Parking spots in hangars
- Automated door animations triggered by battery switch and engine on status
- Revised / more accurate taxi lines, signs, and markings
- Additional buildings
- Additional static aircraft models
- Custom pushback tug (modeled after those used at Whiteman)
- Static ground equipment from our B-2 model file placed throughout the scenery
- Various other upgrades and enhancements to the scenery

Following the release of the B-2 Spirit, this Whiteman AFB scenery completes the experience by offering a detailed home base for this iconic aircraft. Simmers can now operate the B-2 from its real-world base, which is definitely more realistic and appropriate.
Best of all, this scenery is completely free, making it an easy upgrade for B-2 pilots and anyone looking to add a detailed new airbase at no extra cost. You can download it now directly from Top Mach Studios.
