Time Machine Designs, the creative team behind the excellent “Arrows Across America” and the upcoming “Hadrian’s Wall 180AD” addons for Microsoft Flight Simulator, has announced their approval as a Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace Partner.
This achievement marks a significant milestone for both the team and the MSFS community, ensuring that these addons will soon be available for PC and Xbox users through the official MSFS Marketplace.
Time Machine Designs is renowned for producing some of the most interesting historical scenery addons for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

“Arrows Across America,” which is already available for download, meticulously recreates the historic U.S. Air Mail routes from 1926 to 1934. This addon brings to life the network of concrete arrows and beacons that guided pilots across the United States during the early days of airmail services.
“Arrows Across America” features:
- Several historic routes, including CAM5, CAM32, CAM4, CAM8, CAM18, and CAM26
- Detailed custom models, lighting, animated hangars, and dozens of Intermediate Landing Fields
- A comprehensive manual with historical context, route maps, and information on the airmail system
“Hadrian’s Wall 180AD” is the latest project from the team, aiming to recreate the iconic Roman fortification as it stood in 180 AD. Although still in development, this addon promises a detailed and historically accurate representation of Hadrian’s Wall, complete with milecastles, forts, watchtowers, and more.

“Hadrian’s Wall 180AD” will include:
- Accurate placement of historical structures along the wall’s original path
- Collaborations with historians and game design students to ensure authenticity
- Detailed reconstructions based on archaeological findings and historical data
With their recent approval as an MSFS Marketplace Partner, Time Machine Designs is set to bring both addons to a wider audience. This partnership means that “Arrows Across America” and “Hadrian’s Wall 180AD” will be accessible to both PC and Xbox users, enhancing their reach within the flight simulation community.
The team has announced plans to test “Hadrian’s Wall 180AD” on both PC and Xbox over the summer, aiming for a version 1 release in the autumn. Additionally, with the upcoming release of MSFS 2024, the team is exploring new ideas to leverage the capabilities of the next-generation flight simulator.
