3DVirtualSim releases LFRB Brest-Bretagne Airport for MSFS

3DVirtualSim, a new company founded by flight simulation enthusiasts Alexis and Fabien, has announced the release of their first airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Brest-Bretagne Airport (LFRB). This project has taken the team two years to complete, showcasing the dedication and passion that these new creators have put into their work.

Located 10km northeast of Brest, LFRB is the largest airport in Brittany and is known for its strategic importance. Its 3100m runway serves as an optimal diversion option for wide-body aircraft on transatlantic flights in the North Atlantic region. Moreover, the airport’s challenging weather patterns and the 25L runway approach, which can be mistaken for the nearby Landivisiau base, make it an intriguing destination for simmers.

“From the start, we wanted to create a high-quality rendition of Brest. It’s not only situated in our home country, but also boasts a stunning terminal and a unique strategic position,” said Alexis, the community manager of 3DVirtualSim. “Starting from zero knowledge, it’s been a challenging but fulfilling journey. We’re excited to share the result with the flight sim community.”

Although the journey was a complex one, the 3DVirtualSim team is eagerly looking forward to their next projects. “What’s next? We have some ideas, but it may be too soon to reveal anything yet,” they said. “Our ultimate goal remains the same, to create quality products. After all, we are our own customers!”
