FSWeekend returns in 2024 with a 2-day event in March

The team behind FSWeekend, one of the largest and most important flight simulation events in the world, has announced the official dates for the next edition. After a return in November 2022, FSWeekend is now set to take place on the 16th and 17th of March 2024, at the Aviodrome Museum in Lelystad, Netherlands.

FSWeekend is an annual gathering of flight simulation enthusiasts from around the globe, providing a platform for cockpit hardware aficionados, local clubs, and top-tier software developers to showcase their latest products and innovations. The two-day event has consistently attracted over 3,000 attendees, who have the opportunity to explore the Aviodrome museum’s collection of aviation artifacts.

Following the successful return of FSWeekend in 2022, the organisers are planning several improvements and expansions for the 2024 edition, which include a completely overhauled online presence, broader international appeal to attract a wider audience from neighboring countries, improved on-site facilities, and more. Expect to hear more details about this over the coming months.

FSWeekend has been a staple in the flight simulation community for more than 20 years and continues to play an essential role now that the hobby has become more vibrant than ever since the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator in 2020. In the meantime, simmers eager for a similarly significant event can look forward to FlightSimExpo, another big event that is set to take place in just a few weeks, in Houston.
