FeelThere releases budget-friendly Boston Logan Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator

FeelThere's rendition of KBOS seeks to offer a more affordable alternative to FlyTampa's version.

FeelThere has launched a budget-friendly rendition of Boston Logan International Airport (KBOS) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Priced at just around $10, this airport seeks to provide a more affordable alternative to FlyTampa’s highly detailed version released a year ago.

Boston Logan Airport for MSFS by FeelThere includes custom modeled buildings with PBR texturing, complete ground polygons featuring decals, painted lines, surface materials, and dirt/grime, as well as custom modeled jetways. Additionally, the developer has enhanced taxiway and night lighting, offering a visually appealing experience at a lower price point.

The updated AFCAD files in FeelThere’s rendition accurately represent airline parking codes, which should make for a more accurate experience for simmers. The airport’s six runways, four passenger terminals, and its 2,384-acre expanse are all depicted in this rendition from FeelThere.

Opened in 1923, Boston Logan International Airport is situated mostly in East Boston and partially in Winthrop, Massachusetts. Named after General Edward Lawrence Logan, a 20th-century war hero native to Boston, the airport is the largest in Massachusetts and New England in terms of passenger volume and cargo handling. Employing an estimated 16,000 people, Logan Airport saw a record-breaking 42 million passengers in 2019.

Logan Airport offers non-stop service to numerous destinations across the United States, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. It serves as the northeastern hub for Cape Air, the secondary transatlantic hub for Delta Air Lines, and an operating base for JetBlue. American Airlines and United Airlines also maintain significant operations at the airport, including daily transcontinental flights and daily flights to London-Heathrow.

While FlyTampa’s version of Boston Logan Airport is celebrated for its exceptional detail, FeelThere’s more budget-conscious option offers a compelling choice for MSFS users who desire a detailed simulation of the bustling East Coast airport at a lower price.

FeelThere’s Boston Logan Airport is now available for MSFS, priced at around $10.
