A small but sweet new selection of addons has landed this week in a new Marketplace update for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This time, there are two notable new releases: a surprise launch by LatinVFR, who brings us the Airbus A321neo, and Aerosoft’s Simple Traffic, a real-world livery replacement for the default fictional AI liveries, which now becomes available for the Xbox!
LatinVFR A321neo: 4 variants, 47 liveries
The Airbus A321neo from LatinVFR comes seemingly out of nowhere, as there were no hints of such a release from the team. However, don’t jump right into a purchase without first knowing what you’re getting!
This A321neo shares some crucial features with the default A320neo: the systems and flight deck. What LatinVFR is offering is a detailed exterior model of the A321neo in 4 variants: the A321neo LEAP and PW and the LR LEAP and PW. These come with a wide variety of liveries, 47 in total, which mostly represent real-world operators of the aircraft.
You’re getting more than a repackaged and stretched A320, though. LAtinVFR promises that the flight models of each variant have been tweaked with accuracy in mind, and there are also new custom engine sounds, a detailed interior cabin with passengers and animated cabin crew, and even customized ground services equipment.
The Airbus A321neo from LatinVFR is available through the MSFS Marketplace, for both PC and Xbox. It’s also available through Contrail for around $25.00.
Simple Traffic now on Xbox
The second most notable change is that Aerosoft has finally managed to get its Simple Traffic mod to be launched in the Marketplace, which effectively makes it available for the Xbox crowd! This is bound to be particularly popular for the console, as it creates a very visible change for simmers flying in and out of large airports.
Simple Traffic was originally launched for PC back in November with a simple yet very clear goal in mind: to replace the fictional stock liveries in the AI traffic with real-world ones, so that simmers could find Delta airplanes in Atlanta, British Airways in Heathrow, KLM at Schiphol, and so on. Xbox airliners pilots now get the chance to experience more realistic and immersive airports that more accurately represent the actual aircraft colors found in them.
Simple Traffic is now available in the Marketplace for $14.99.
A few new liveries, missions, and airports too!
And of course, as expected, this week we also got a variety of new packages in other categories. Those flying the stock A320 will find even more new liveries from a few developers, while the 747 and the King Air also get some new color options. Besides, Perfect Flight also launched a new mission pack that simulates the life of a Eurowings pilot, and we got some new airports too from a few places around the world.
