The Concorde from DC Designs is now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator

DC Designs finally released today its greatly anticipated simulation of the iconic Concorde, now available for MSFS pilots to enjoy. After months of teasers and previews, the supersonic airliner can now be experienced while speeding across the virtual oceans of MSFS!

The Concorde needs to introduction, as it’s one of the most famous airplanes ever made. It’s a fascinating machine that warms the hearts and souls of so many aviation buffs, who have eagerly been waiting to see it represented in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

DC Designs has brought the Concorde to life with a native model for MSFS, looking to create a fairly realistic and absorbing experience when flying this aircraft. We already know that DC Designs doesn’t particularly strive for high-quality models or very in-depth systems, but the developer has said before that this is their most complex and detailed airplane yet.

MSFS simmers can expect a realistic model of the Concorde, with plenty of animations, a very interactive cockpit, and great sounds. It seems there are some very detailed systems, like the fuel transfer systems, and an accurate flight model. Don’t expect an arcade airplane that will accelerate to Mach 2 at sea level. You’ll have to correctly fly the airplane, following real-world procedures to reach supersonic speeds at higher altitudes.

Four historic liveries are included in this package, those from Air France, Singapore Airlines, and two from British Airways.

The Concorde is now available for MSFS, priced at €34.95. It’s also available in the Marketplace for both PC and Xbox users!
