FlightSim Studio releases Kufstein-Langkampfen airfield, a gateway to the Alps

Aerosoft and FlightSim Studio have released Kufstein-Langkampfen Airfield (LOIK) for MSFS. Located in Tyrol, western Austria, near stunning mountainscapes and in close proximity with Innsbruck and the Alps, this is a popular base for gliders and other light aircraft looking to fly in this breathtaking region of the world. It comes just in time to be enjoyed together with World Update VI (Germany, Switzerland and Austria), which brings significant improvements to the scenery in this region.

Kufstein-Langkampfen has an 800m grass runway, providing a good challenge for pilots who also need to carefully navigate around the mountainous terrain. It also has a nice restaurant that is popular among pilots, with a nice terrace overlooking the airfield. Camping is also available for the most adventurous.

FlightSim Studio used real-world imagery to faithfully recreate this airfield. There are plenty of little details to see which, together with the addition of 3D people and static aircraft, help bring this place to life and make it feel like the welcoming airfield that local aviators love.
