Just Flight previews ‘Real Taxiways’, accurately placed real-world taxiway signs for MSFS

In a partnership with newcomer developer Black Square, Just Flight has announced a new product series for Flight Simulator that promises to greatly enhance navigation in default airports. Real Taxiways, has it being called, will be first released for Class C & D airports in the United States, eventually to be followed by additional areas and countries.

Real Taxiways will add accurately placed taxiways signs to the default MSFS airports, improving and fixing many problems with inaccurate placements so that any pilot can have a more true-to-life and immersive experience when navigating across these locations.

The truth is that the scenery in Flight Simulator is now very realistic and easily recognizable, but airport signage and object placement is still hit-and-miss in many cases, breaking immersion or confusing real pilots used to the real airports. That’s where Black Square enters with Real Taxiways, providing a way to fix these issues.

With Real taxiways you will find hundreds of new signs, including many new types and different variations. These signs will also be easier to see from the cockpit without zooming. They will also be accurately placed, so not only you will find each sign in its relevant location, but you will also no longer see (hopefully), rogue objects in the middle of the taxiways.

Real Taxiways will be coming soon, but no release date has been specified yet, so stay tuned for further updates. In the meantime, Just Flight put up a detailed page with all the product features and comparison images.
