Garmin GTN 750 touchscreen avionics now available for MSFS

An excellent replacement for the G1000, it's also coming to the Just Flight Arrow III.

Here’s a nice addition to general aviation pilots in Flight Simulator. There’s now a new mod that adds a new set of avionics that you can use in a series of airplanes in MSFS, such as the Cessna C172, the DA40NG, or the Grand Caravan. It’s the PMS50 GTN750, currently available for free, and a great touchscreen replacement for the G1000 or Garmin 430 systems!

The PMS50 GTN750 mod, currently available in beta, integrates a very nice and easy-to-use touchscreen that simulates the overall features and operations of the Garmin GTN 750 (with some limitations given the current state of the sim). It’s currently available as a basic, free package, that adds the necessary features to fly your flight plan, but there’s also a premium upgrade that adds some extended features. This premium version will be available as a paid subscription, but can currently be activated for free.

This GTN750 mod can replace your existing avionics on some airplanes in MSFS, but can also be integrated by third-party developers in their aircraft. There’s some promising news on this side too, as the GTN750 is already being used by the H135 project, the first helicopter available for MSFS. Just Flight is also adding support for this mod in their excellent PA-28R Arrow III, which is the perfect aircraft to use this feature.

The GTN 750 is a real breeze to use, much more convenient than the knobs and switches found on the G1000, 530 or 430 sets. Installation is easy, but make sure to follow read the great documentation that explains everything in detail.

Overall, it’s a very interesting addition to your avionics options in MSFS and highly recommended. Easy to use, good looking and very intuitive! You should try it!
