A drivable car in Flight Simulator? Yes… and it’s a Mitsubishi Pajero!

Who said Flight Simulator is only for flying machines? Maybe you don’t want to leave the ground, and wish instead to go about your life in some airport looking for lost cargo. Or you’re tired of seeing the world from up above, and want now to see how it looks down there, maybe even racing one of those crazy drivers that you see crashing against buildings. If so, then look no further than this intriguing new freeware mod, which introduces a ‘drivable’ car in MSFS, in the form of a Mitsubishi Pajero!

This is probably the first car for MSFS (not that anyone was asking for it), and comes straight from an FSX port. It’s up to you to figure out what to do with it. We reckon it might be fun to work as a follow-me car, or just to use it as a means to explore the scenery: be it a detailed airport, or just a specially beautiful location somewhere in the world. Or even embark on a journey across the long roads of the entire world!

Don’t expect anything groundbreaking in terms of features or visual fidelity. The exterior is surprisingly decent, but the dashboard comes straight from the 2000’s: a blurry, glitch mess, with a non-functional GPS. There are some other animations though, such as the turning wheels.

The Mitsubishi Pajero for Flight Simulator is now available for free through flightsim.to. Found a good use for it? Let us know in the comments below!
