Grumman Goose G21A Redux II – an initial (freeware) release of this classic

It’s time for the holidays, so here’s a cool little gift for you: the initial release of the “Grumman Goose G21A Redux II” for Microsoft Flight Simulator, from Wookiee’s Hanger, an upgrade of the “Ozx Grumman G21A Goose HD Redux” which was itself an upgrade of the default Grumman Goose in FSX.
Keep in mind, first of all, that this is an early preview version, still far from what can be considered a final release. Some things are not working, or function in unexpected ways, but the dev team decided it was already good enough to bring some joy to us all just in time for Christmas. And we agree, as it flies great and you can even perform a complete and faithful Cold and Dark start.
You can follow the development of this aircraft on the official MSFS forums, and also on Wookiee’s Hanger Discord.
The team encourages simmers to test the aircraft and give some honest feedback that can lead to real improvements. You can also check the official Trello board to see what the team is currently working on.

A-321 is swell! Thanks for all involved. Too bad the CRJ-700 quit working after this last MSFS update.

There is an issue I had when unpacking the .rar file into the MSFS community folder. I don’t remember the error exactly but an error comes up stating that it can’t install “popout” instruments due to the long directory name. The standard panel and instruments are there however.

Richard, it looks like your folder path is very long, which is causing that problem. Searching in google we found this possible solution, maybe give it a try! – https://www.howtogeek.com/266621/how-to-make-windows-10-accept-file-paths-over-260-characters/
