Last week we told you about SoFly’s ‘A Guide to Flight Simulator’, a highly detailed guide to help you figure out all about MSFS, from configuring graphics settings, tips on how to fly each aircraft, configuring cameras, and much more.
SoFly has been hard at work to keep updating the guide, providing added value to existing customers, some of whom expressed concern to us about buying a guide that could be left abandoned, when ideally it should be constantly updated considering how massive MSFS is. Well worry not, because SoFly has just updated it with 20 more pages of content (now at 190), featuring a flight tutorial on the excellent TBM 930, where you’ll learn how to navigate from VOR to VOR.
Besides this, the guide will also introduce you to SkyVector, an extremely useful website to help you with flight planning.
Future updates are also already planned. The team will focus next on weather, icing and also taking a look at some of the more interesting places to explore in the sim.
This updated guide, now at version 1.30, is available for the same price as before – just under $17 – and is a free update for existing users.
