PMS50 GTN750 arrives on the MSFS Marketplace, opening the door for Xbox pilots

The PMS50 GTN750 has joined the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace! This standalone release brings the popular GPS unit to Xbox for the first time, a moment console pilots have been waiting on since the early MSFS days when third-party avionics were mostly a PC-only affair.
The PMS50 GTN750 has built a loyal following among GA flyers who want an alternative navigation suite with a familiar touchscreen workflow. Until now, though, the story was simple. PC simmers downloaded the Lite version for free from PMS50’s website, and those who wanted the extra functionality paid for the Premium upgrade directly. Xbox users were on the outside unless they bought the Super Decathlon, which bundled the GTN750 inside its panel.
That changes today. The Lite edition is now in the in-sim store. On PC you still do not need to pay, because PMS50 says the Lite package remains freeware on its site. The Marketplace version offers convenience for those who prefer the built-in install and update pipeline. Xbox users finally get access, and it comes as a paid package since external executable support is not an option on console. The developer credits Hangar Studios 713 for support in bringing the product to the store.
As we know, code on Xbox must live entirely inside the sim sandbox. The TDS GTNXi, for example, relies on external Garmin trainer software, so it remains PC-only. PMS50’s approach is different, and the Marketplace release confirms it fits within Microsoft’s technical and policy boundaries. That is newsworthy both for buyers and for third-party developers watching how avionics are evolving in the MSFS ecosystem.
This should also mean that those who will be flying on Playstation 5 will also be able to use the PMS50 GNT750.
The package on the Marketplace offers the Lite feature set. Anyone who wants expanded functionality still needs to buy the Premium license from PMS50 directly. That tier unlocks features like advanced flight planning options and additional map layers.
Support spans both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. According to PMS50, installation works the same for PC and Xbox once purchased through the Marketplace, and PC users who want to keep the traditional workflow can still install the freeware Lite manually.
