Moza launches new AB6 force-feedback base and modular MTQ throttle system for flight simmers

Moza continues its strong push into the flight simulation hardware market. After the excellent AB9 force feedback base, which, when paired with the MH16 sidestick, offers a truly fantastic experience, the manufacturer is now expanding its lineup even further.
Moza, previously best known for its sim racing ecosystem, is now venturing deeper into the flight control space with the new AB6 force feedback base and the MTQ modular throttle system, both now available globally.
The new AB6 and MTQ build on Moza’s previous efforts while targeting a slightly broader audience with more accessible pricing and swappable components for different aircraft types.
AB6 force-feedback base and MHG flight stick bundle
Let’s start with the AB6 Flight Simulator package, which includes the AB6 direct-drive base, the new MHG flightstick, and a desk mount. It’s basically a complete HOTAS setup. Moza says the system delivers 6 N·m of torque through a direct-drive motor and aims to simulate aerodynamic forces, trim changes, stall feedback, and engine vibration cues.
Key specifications and features include:
- 6 N·m direct-drive motor torque
- Metal construction in aluminum alloy and steel
- 15-bit magnetic encoder
- Two analog sliders for throttle, airbrake, or camera control
- Eight RGB-lit buttons on the base
- Universal flightstick connector and wide mounting compatibility
- Customization through Moza Cockpit software
The MHG stick introduced with the bundle features more than 25 inputs, a built-in Hall-effect Z-axis for rudder control, a two-stage trigger, and fighter-style ergonomics. All in all, the bundle ends up being an upper-mid-range solution that brings a direct-drive feel to a wider audience.
The AB6 Flight Simulator bundle is available now for USD $399 / EUR €449 / GBP £399.
MTQ throttle quadrant with interchangeable lever modules
Alongside the AB6, Moza has launched the MTQ Throttle Quadrant, a modular throttle base that ships with fighter-jet-style levers by default. Additional Airbus-style (TQA) and Boeing-style (TQB) lever sets are available separately.
The MTQ features:
- Interchangeable lever sets for fighter, Airbus, and Boeing configurations
- Four axes with detent points for speedbrake and flaps
- Dedicated landing gear lever
- Ten buttons, three toggle switches, and three rotary knobs
- Six RGB-lit buttons
- RJ11 connection option to Moza bases to save USB ports
- Software configuration through Moza Cockpit
The Airbus levers include detents for the usual CL/FLEX/TOGA positions, and the Boeing levers include a lift-to-arm reverse mechanism and TO/GA button functionality. The fighter levers offer afterburner detents.
Pricing
- MTQ Throttle Quadrant: USD $199 / EUR €219 / GBP £199
- TQA Airbus module: USD $39 / EUR €45 / GBP £39
- TQB Boeing module: USD $39 / EUR €45 / GBP £39
