Bravo Airspace releases Boeing 787-8 for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Bravo Airspace has released a new variant of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the 787-8. It arrives after a significant delay from its originally scheduled release date of November 30, 2023, and is now available for purchase in the MSFS Marketplace for both PC and Xbox at $18.99.
Features and Details
The Bravo Airspace 787-8 is the first aircraft release from the developer and is essentially a conversion of the default Premium Deluxe-exclusive 787-10 to the shorter variant in the family. It blends the original Asobo flight deck and avionics with a custom model of the 787-8 and a series of additional custom features.
- Custom Model and Interior: A custom fuselage with a fully modeled passenger cabin, featuring three categories of seating and detailed night lighting.
- Engine Options: Includes both General Electric and Rolls Royce engine variants, with custom sounds licensed from FTSIM.
- Cockpit Modifications: Adjustments include realistic weathering effects and additional details such as personal items and dust particles to simulate a busy airliner environment.
- EFB: Integrates with SimBrief and Navigraph, providing tools for pushback, jetway connection, GPU calls, door operations, and access to weather and payload data.
- Custom Flight Model: Tailored flight dynamics to accurately reflect the 787-8’s performance, including engine thrust and weight balance.
The base package includes nine liveries from airlines around the world, including Air Canada, ANA, Jetstar, Kenya Airways, LATAM, TUI, and United Airlines.
Sadly, many simmers will be left out of this add-on, as owning the Premium Deluxe version of Microsoft Flight Simulator is a requirement. The Bravo Airspace 787-8 relies on the cockpit and avionics of the default 787-10, which is not available to owners of the Standard version.
However, if you’re on PC, you have other options without paying a dime. The Kuro 787-8 (and -9) is available for free. Unfortunately, Xbox simmers don’t have access to that, so they may find this release from Bravo Airspace to be particularly compelling.
The Bravo Airspace Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner offers a new airliner option for simmers on both PC and Xbox, and it’s available now exclusively through the MSFS Marketplace, priced at $18.99.
