SoFly’s Aircraft Checklist Pro will soon support the PMDG 737, the ATR 72, the CRJ, and more

SoFly, the developer behind Aircraft Checklist Pro for Microsoft Flight Simulator, has announced an upcoming update to the tool. The new version, v1.1.0, will be available for PC users on May 25th via SoFly and OrbxDirect.

The update will introduce checklists for five additional aircraft: Boeing 737NG, Boeing 777, Embraer 170/175, ATR 72 400/600, and Bombardier CRJ Series. This expansion will be particularly beneficial for users awaiting the arrival of the PMDG 737 on Xbox, providing them with a useful guide to navigate the complexities of this aircraft. That’s right, Aircraft Checklist Pro is soon coming to the Xbox too!

Aircraft Checklist Pro is a comprehensive tool that offers aircraft-specific checklists for all default Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft (and soon third-party aircraft). It covers everything from getting your aircraft from a cold and dark state to the skies and back to the ground again before shutting down. The tool is accessible directly from within the simulator via the in-sim toolbar, ensuring a seamless experience for simmers who don’t want to be distracted by other programs.

In addition to the PC update, SoFly has also developed a version of Aircraft Checklist Pro specifically for Xbox. This version includes all of the checklists from the PC version, including those in the v1.1.0 update, and features Xbox-specific controls for ease of use with the Xbox Gamepad. The search bar has been completely redesigned to better support the gamepad, with a larger size and a custom keyboard that pops up for easy searching. Furthermore, the scroll bar can be controlled with the right stick or by pressing A and sliding it up or down.

SoFly told us that the Xbox version of Aircraft Checklist Pro is currently with the Microsoft Flight Simulator team for testing and will be available soon. The v1.1.0 update is also awaiting validation to become available in the Marketplace, but it’s likely to be released first for PC and later for Xbox.
