Drzewiecki Design releases EETN Tallinn Airport, in Estonia, for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Drzewiecki Design has just released its latest airport scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator: EETN Tallinn Airport, in Estonia.

Tallinn Airport is Estonia’s largest airport, serving as a hub for the national airline Nordica, as well as the secondary hub for AirBaltic and LOT Polish Airlines. The airport, which accommodates both domestic and international flights, is strategically located on the eastern shore of Lake Ülemiste, just 2.7 nautical miles southeast of Tallinn’s city center. Some of the most popular scheduled destinations from Tallinn Airport include Frankfurt, Helsinki, Riga, Stockholm, London, and Warsaw.

The airport features a single asphalt-concrete runway, measuring 3,480 m × 45 m (11,417 ft × 148 ft), which is the longest runway in the Baltic states. The runway’s size enables it to handle wide-bodied aircraft, such as the Boeing 747. Tallinn Airport was officially named Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport on March 29, 2009, in honor of the leader of the Estonian independence movement and the country’s second president, Lennart Meri.

Drzewiecki Design’s rendition of EETN Tallinn for MSFS scenery boasts several impressive features, including:

  1. A high-quality model of EETN Tallinn Airport, complete with extensive details that span the entire airport property.
  2. An FPS-friendly design that offers dynamic lighting, PBR materials, stunning night textures, and a high-definition mesh.
  3. Performance-friendly interior modeling at all terminal buildings, the control tower, and most hangars, as well as static aircraft, custom animations, and animated jetways.
  4. The inclusion of iconic Tallinn city landmarks, providing a realistic backdrop for flight simulation enthusiasts.
  5. Full compatibility with GSX Pro, using Cartayna Files for seamless ground service operations.

Drzewiecki Design continues to bring us very detailed sceneries that provide a significant boost to realism in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Tallinn Airport follows on other major releases such as Newark Airport or Renton, in the United States, and is set to become a must-have addition for MSFS simmers looking to explore the skies over Estonia and the Baltic region!

EETN Tallinn Airport is now available for MSFS, priced at €21.00 + tax.
