FlyBoy Simulations introduces the Rans S6S Coyote II for MSFS
FlyBoy Simulations has released his first aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and it’s one we haven’t seen before: the Rans S6S Coyote II. This popular light sport aircraft promises to be an interesting new addition to the LSA category in MSFS!
The Rans S6S Coyote II is a single-engine, two-seat, high-wing aircraft manufactured by Rans Designs. It has a long history of success and popularity among aviation enthusiasts, thanks in part to its versatile design and impressive performance capabilities. The S6S variant featured in this release is powered by a Rotax 912ULS engine delivering 100 HP, providing ample power for even the most challenging flying conditions an LSA may encounter.
The Rans S6S Coyote 2 from FlyBoy Simulations comes with two different variants – trike and taildragger – as well as seven authentic liveries. A paint kit is included, allowing users to customize the aircraft’s appearance to their liking.
The external and internal models feature high-definition textures, while the 3D model and animations are said to be accurate and realistic. The flight model is also based on real data. The fully interactive virtual cockpit includes a functional checklist, sun shades, and even a GoPro camera. It’s powered by a combination of steam gauges and the MSFS Aera avionics.
One of the key features of the Rans S6S Coyote II is its exceptional STOL characteristics. With the aim to change that and offer Rans fliers a decent choice in the simulator, FlyBoy decided to tackle this project and create a detailed rendition of the aircraft.
