Simmarket launches Final Approach Design Simulation’s Dhaka Airport for MSFS

The world’s oldest and largest flight simulation add-on store, Simmarket, has announced the release of Dhaka Airport (VGHS) for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS). The add-on has been created by Final Approach Design Simulation, a team of skilled flight sim enthusiasts who have previously designed sceneries for X-Plane 11 and Prepar3D.

Dhaka Airport (VGHS) is the largest and busiest airport in Bangladesh, located in the capital city of Dhaka. The airport serves as the main hub for several airlines such as Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Novoair and US-Bangla Airlines, and it handles over 8 million passengers and 200,000 tons of cargo annually.

The airport features two runways, one of which is 3,200 meters long and can accommodate wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 777 and Airbus A330. The airport has undergone significant development in recent years, with new facilities and terminals being constructed to accommodate the increasing passenger traffic.

Dhaka Airport is an important gateway to Bangladesh, connecting the country with several major international destinations across Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. Some of the major airlines that operate from the airport include Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, and Singapore Airlines, among others.

This new airport for MSFS is designed with impressive detail and realism, using 4K PBR textures for the ground and 3D buildings, accurately modeled 3D objects, static vehicles and ground service equipment, custom ILS, terminal interior, custom dynamic lighting and realistic night textures, as well as detailed animated jetways. Furthermore, this airport is designed to support AI traffic and accurate parking positions.

Dhaka Airport (VGHS) is available for purchase at Simmarket for EUR 21.99 (+ VAT where applicable).
