Impulse Simulations is back with a new Australian airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer has focused on this territory since starting making scenery for MSFS, offering simmers a growing collection of very impressive products. The latest release is Canberra International Airport, an airport that serves Australia’s capital city.
YSCB Canberra Airport is the 8th busiest airport in Australia and mostly serves domestic routes to the other state capitals. It’s not too far from major destinations such as Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane & Coffs Harbour, some of which have also been represented for MSFS by Impulse Simulations.
Civilian jet airliners and regional turboprop aircraft are a common sight at this airport, but YSCB is also home to the VIP RAAF 34 squadron, a VIP transport squadron that operates Boeing 737 business jets and Dassault Falcon 7Xs.
Impulse Simulations has once again delivered a feature-rich and very good-looking scenery that transforms Canberra Airport into a much more desirable airport in MSFS. Besides being a realistic depiction of the airport, with great modeling and texturing, custom signs and markings, and thousands of hand-placed objects, this version of YSCB also comes with custom jetways and a functional VDGS system.
You’re bound to see many details as you explore this scenery and the nearby city, making this release a great opportunity to either upgrade a beloved location or revisit the country if you haven’t done so since the Australia World Update.
