Yakutat Airport, in Alaska, released for MSFS by Northern Sky Studio
Northern Sky Studio is back with another gorgeous airport in the US state of Alaska. After the launch of Seward Airport back in March, the developer has now turned to the isolated community of Yakutat and their vital airport: PAYA Yakutat Airport.
Yakutat Airport is a state-owned public airport that plays a key role in maintaining a connection between the Yakutat borough and the outside world. With no road access to the outside world, air and sea are the only means to get people and cargo in and out of Yakutat.
Alaska Airlines serves the only commercial flights in this airport with the Boeing 737-700. If you’re looking for realistic new routes to fly in the PMDG 737, the short hop between Yakutat and Juneau is just the perfect way to test the aircraft and enjoy the gorgeous views over Alaska.
The Alaskan wilderness is also attractive for many general aviation flights, with private pilots using Yakutat Airport to explore this beautiful region.
With this unique predicament in mind, Northern Sky Studio got to work on a highly-detailed replica of Yakutat Airport for MSFS, which features very realistic buildings and textures, custom aerial imagery and surrounding structures, and an overall very authentic ambiance.
PAYA Yakutat becomes a very welcoming place in this rendition for Northern Sky Studio, ready to serve your desires to explore Alaska from up in the air. It’s available now through Orbx Direct, priced at just around $12.
