GSX Ground Services is launching for MSFS this month!

FSDreamTeam’s GSX Ground Services has been a very popular piece of software in flight simulation over the years, offering the possibility to simulate a wide range of ground services in airports. After a promising statement last month that pointed to a release in “weeks, rather than months”, FSDT has now confirmed that GSX is finally launching for MSFS this month!

The exciting news came directly from Umberto Colapicchioni, FSDT’s owner, who revealed that the team is now working on new videos ahead of the release that is now planned for this month of August.

Umberto also provided new details about the product, which will come to MSFS in two different versions, as follows:

– A “Pro” package, similar to the existing iteration of GSX for FSX and P3D.

– A “lite” package, which is what FSDT will call “GSX World”. This version will only replace the default models for the jetways and ground services in MSFS, while keeping the functionality of the default AI.

FSDT says that GSX World will be on sale exclusively in the MSFS Marketplace, as it is especially geared towards Xbox users. Third-party retailers will only sell the full “Pro” version of GSX.

GSX is one of the missing pieces in MSFS, so it’s a product that has been greatly anticipated by the community. The wait is now nearly over and it should just be a matter of days for this excellent product to finally arrive on our favorite simulator!

Stay tuned for more details about the release soon. We’ll let you know once there’s any additional information about an exact release date and pricing!
