The Carenado PC-12 is complete, launching for MSFS in early September
We’ve been talking a lot about Pilatus’ aircraft lately, haven’t we? Yesterday we got news from IRIS Simulations, who are working on the jet-powered PC-24, and today, after following Carenado’s efforts with the PC-12 for a while, we finally got some good news regarding an estimated release schedule!
The PC-12 has been in development for quite some time, but Carenado’s hard work is now coming to fruition with the completion of this project from a practical point of view. The team shared the news on their social media, stating that the final package has now been handed to Microsoft for the release in the MSFS Marketplace, which should happen in the first days of September.
As we know, Carenado’s airplanes are available exclusively in the Marketplace, so we have to wait for Microsoft’s approval process before the aircraft gets published.
This is definitely great news, as we’ve been waiting for this airplane to come out for a while. Carenado has made some really nice products lately, and it’s a given that their PC-12 will look superb. That much we can see on the preview images that have been released in the meantime, especially in the latest ones, which you can see above, that perfectly showcase Carenado’s superb attention to detail.
Now that we have a clearer timeframe for the PC-12’s launch in MSFS, it’s time to start plotting some flight plans to take this super-popular business turboprop to the skies! Hopefully, Carenado will be able to implement a realistic simulation of the aircraft’s systems and performance. We’ll have to wait a few more weeks to test that out, including the brand new Avidyne EX600 with functional weather radar!
For now, enjoy the spectacular new images of the PC-12 in Microsoft Flight Simulator, a beautiful and sleek airplane inside and out!
