Flightbeam Studios set to release NZWN Wellington Airport this month, shares stunning new images

Flightbeam Studios is getting ready to release another stunning airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. After lauching NZAA Auckland Airport late last year, the talented team is now putting the final touches on another airport in New Zealand, Wellington International Airport (NZWN).

We’ve seen just a few remarkably detailed images of NZWN, which continue to showcase Flightbeam’s incredible attention to detail in all their sceneries, but this week we got a nice new selection of images and even a short video. Along with these new previews, Flightbeam Studios also revealed that NZWN is set to release for MSFS this month!

NZWN is currently in the hands of beta testers, who have been providing Flightbeam with some valuable feedback. After all, most of these testers live nearby, so they can provide very accurate contributions that will hopefully lead to a highly realistic rendition of this airport in MSFS.

To showcase the current status of the product, Flightbeam recently published a few very impressive and photorealistic images, showing the main Terminal and runway textures and modeling in great detail. The developer’s custom work is seen throught the whole scenery, especifically in the detailed texturing with multiple PBR layers and many hand-placed details.

Besides these impressive preview images, Flightbeam also shared a short video showing the very realistic runway guard lights at the airport:

Really impressive! Flightbeam Studios is now planning to release NZWN to the world during this month of April, in what is looking to be another unmissable release in terms of high-quality airports for MSFS. A more precise launch date should be revealed soon, so stay tuned for further news over the next few days!
