This week's Marketplace update brings new A320 and 747 liveries for Xbox simmers

The built-in Marketplace in Microsoft Flight Simulator got updated this week with an assortment of new addons, and this time it brings some welcome additions to console pilots.

Starting with aircraft, the Iris Simulations Grob Tutor T.1 has made the jump into the Marketplace, after an initial launch with outside vendors last summer. This makes the Tutor available for Xbox pilots, who often complain about the lack of new airplanes in the console. Together with the not-so-great Kitfox STI from BT Studio, those flying on Xbox have now two more airplanes to play with.

Something else that will surely be appreciated on consoles is the availability of two new livery packs, from Bredok3D. Since Xbox simmers don’t have access to the massive library of liveries of flightsim.to, their only chance to get new repaints is through the Marketplace. Thanks to this new update, they can now get new real-world liveries for the A320 and the Boeing 747. Not free, though.

As usual, there’s a variety of new airports, some new ones that are now launching on the platform and some others that have been available outside the Marketplace for some time, such as Orbx’s Mackay and Essendon airports, or FeelThere’s KLGA LA Guardia.

While the Marketplace gets updates nearly every week, we are now approaching the end of February, which will bring significant new changes to MSFS with Sim Update 8, to be shortly followed by a brand new aircraft, the Antonov An-2.
