Impulse Simulations releases Coffs Harbour Airport for MSFS

Impulse Simulations is back with a brand new Australian airport add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator. After the release of the impressive Adelaide International Airport last year, the Australian team has now released their depiction of Coffs Harbour Airport (YCFS), in New South Wales.

It’s a timely release from Impulse Simulations, now that MSFS got a massive update covering the whole Australian territory, drawing the attention of many simmers into the lands Down Under.

Coffs Harbour Airport sits right alongside the NSW coast and is one of the largest and busiest regional airports in the state, with more than 400.000 passengers served in recent years. It’s actually capable of accommodating big jetliners such as the Boeing 767 and 777, although it currently serves mostly domestic traffic by Link Airways, QantasLink, Rex Airlines and Virgin Australia. 

New South Wales is a beautiful region to explore, especially after World Update VII, and Coffs Harbour Airport might be just the right airport to base your incursions through the state. It’s another meticulously detailed scenery, as we’re getting used to from Impulse Simulations, with more than 10.000 hand-placed objects, highly detailed aerial imagery covering the airport and beyond, plenty of animations, static aircraft, and much more.

Thankfully, if you have any doubt about the quality of this scenery, the above trailer should provide a clear idea of what to expect. It seems to be a comprehensive package that tries to recreate the authenticity of this place, and it’s another welcome addition to the platform by the talented team at Impulse Simulations.

Coffs Harbour Airport (YCFS) is now available for MSFS directly from Impulse’s website, priced at $29.95. It’s apparently been optimized for PC and Xbox, which means it will also be out in the MSFS Marketplace soon.
