The Twin Otter from Aerosoft gets some new images

Every month we have been bringing you regular updates about the ongoing development of Aerosoft’s DHC-6 Twin Otter, the rugged STOL airplane that should be out soon for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Today we have a few more teaser images of the amphibian variant, where the quality of the work the developers have been putting in continues to show. This Otter looks great!

After seeing the first video of the airplane in action, the variety of different configurations and the cockpit in all its glory, it’s starting to feel like we’ve seen everything already. Time to let it loose? Aerosoft has promised it will be out this year, so there are some potentially long months of waiting, but… September also marks the 30th anniversary of Aerosoft! Wouldn’t it be a great way to celebrate such a long history with the release of this highly anticipated airplane for MSFS?

We’re just speculating, obviously, but the thing looks nearly finished and Mathijs Kok has said that this is one of the smoothest projects he’s ever been involved with. Promising words indeed, and we can’t wait to fly the Twin Otter in Flight Simulator. With its STOL capabilities, it’s the perfect airplane to explore the stunning world of MSFS, and it’s bound to be very popular.

In the meantime, check below the gorgeous new shots of the airplane in MSFS. It’s both kinda… ugly, but also beautiful for its utilitarian looks. A machine made to perform. Can’t wait!
