You can now tow advertising banners in Flight Simulator with your Cessna 152

Ah, so many fond memories of lying on the beach while a slow-moving airplane passed by displaying the weirdest advertising banners one could imagine. From wedding proposals to incomprehensible brand advertising, it was always intriguing how those pilots took those banners to the air. Or worse, how do they land with them?

Well, now you can see that experience for yourself because there’s now a freeware mod for MSFS that ads a banner tow to the Cessna 152. That’s right, you can now fly your own banners wherever and however you want. We can already think of a bunch of cool ideas (YouTubers will certainly love this!), and for sure people will start to come up with a wide variety of use cases for it.

bagolu, the developer behind this ingenious creation, did it with the goal of flying advertising missions on NeoFly, the excellent freeware career mod/mission generator for Flight Simulator. But you can use it in any way you like, of course. Thankfully, there’s also a way to edit the banner to your liking, by using the handy template provided by the developer (livery creation skills are necessary).

As for how you use it, it’s quite simple. The banner can be manually deployed using the water-rudder shortcut (CTRL+W by default). Then it’s up to you to use it as you see fit.

This freeware Cessna 152 Banner Tow is now available from flightsim.to, and it will add a new airplane to your hangar right beside the default C152.
