(New images!) Just Flight teases a new Piper for MSFS: the Warrior II

Update: Just Flight released a few more details and new images. Our original article is now updated below with this new information.

The Just Flight PA-28R Arrow III is easily the best general aviation airplane in Flight Simulator right now, a perfect blend of realism, depth and aesthetics that have raised the bar for future aircraft in this genre. Its most powerful siblings, the Turbo Arrows III and IV, are also coming soon, and today we have a sneak-peak into another upcoming addition from Just Flight to the Cherokee family: the PA28-161 Warrior II.

The developers took to their social media to share a single shot of their new Warrior II, in beautiful BOAC colors and equipped with wheel fairings. It certainly looks very good from the outside! This is, obviously, a very similar airplane to the Arrow, with the main differences being the less-powerful engine and the fixed-pitch propeller. It’s as straightforward as it can get in the Piper lineage, featuring a simple and functional design that made the Warrior very popular for personal use and training.

This is an airplane that will certainly bring fond memories to many pilots who learned to fly in it. The particular aircraft that is being depicted by Just Flight is G-BOZI, based at Conington Airfield. Being a popular aircraft all over the world, this package will include a selection of liveries from the USA, Canada, UK, France, Australia and Germany.

As usual with Just Flight, there’s no indication at this point about a possible release date, but based on what we saw with the Arrow III, we should be looking into a few months down the line. In the meantime, you can read about the extensive list of features on the official development page that was just launched.
