QualityWings announces development of 787 Collection for MSFS

Exciting announcement from QualityWings today, with the confirmation that their Ultimate 787 Collection is in active development for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator.

The 787 Collection, currently available for FSX and P3D, is a high-quality and ultra realistic depiction of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner. It’s so good, in fact, that it is a Boeing Officially Licensed Product.

QualityWings revealed that they’ve been testing the new sim for quite some time, but only saw things starting to take shape with the latest versions of the SDK, which allow development of the 787 to progress at a more predictable pace. It is, therefore, at this stage, that the team decided to show an initial glimpse of the Ultimate 787 for MSFS.

The screenshots are obviously for a project that is very much a work-in-progress, but already show the high quality interior and exterior model we can expect from this astonishing new addon. QualityWings estimates a release in Q2 2021, which is in line with what we’ve seen from other developers of highly complex aircraft. After all, everyone is still getting familiar with all the new tools and technologies made available by the new SDK, which is also still being intensively developed by Asobo and Microsoft.

For now, let’s droll over the beautiful screenshots shared by QualityWings:
