Black Box Simulation teases Cessna L-19 ‘Bird Dog’ for MSFS

Black Box Simulation has been developing aircraft for flight simulation for several years now, but when it comes to the new Microsoft Flight Simulator we had yet to hear from them. Well, wait no more, because the developers have just teased us with their first upcoming release for MSFS, and it’s the Bird Dog!

The Cessna L-19/O-1 Bird Dog had a lengthy career in the US military, serving as a liaison and observation aircraft, aptly named because of how well it enabled pilots and their rear-seat observers to search for and locate enemy ground positions.

Black Box didn’t provide any additional information about this upcoming release, other that some very good looking screenshots. We can see at least that versions with tundra tires and floats will be available. This is definitely an interesting aircraft to keep an eye on, and we will let you know once we have updated news about a possible release date, features, prices, etc.
